First Visit to Mozambique/Primeira visita a Moçambique

Carol and I on the shore of the Indian Ocean.
Carol e eu as margens do Oceano Índico.
Ben Rodgers, myself, and Mukulu. Ben has been the most vital person in this project. He is awesome.
Ben Rogers, eu, e Mukulu. Ben tem sido vital neste projeto. Ele é muito legal.

Carol and Celeste. Celeste is the teacher for the Care Point. She knows how to speak Portuguese, English, and Shangan (the local language).
Carol e Celeste.

Some of the kids that came over when we arrived.

We are standing to the back of the building so this gives a little perspective as to how big it is inside.

Just need some windows and we could start using the building with only some details to be worked on.

The flag on the building represents that is it finished and it will only be taken down after a big party. This is according to the builder, Mukulu. He is very excited to be at the finish line.

The Bathroom Building. The big hole is for a septic tank that will be made soon.

O predio dos banheiros. O buracão é onde em breve será construida a fossa.

Carol and I with the builder, Mukulu. Great guy.

Carol e eu com o construtor, Mukulu. Cara muito bacana

We had a great time on our first visit to the church/care point in Mozambique. Ben and Susan Rodgers took us there. We were really excited to finally see the building project that has been talked about for so long and now we finally saw it with our own eyes. We are expecting God to do amazing things in that place. To see a building like this in this area, we can definitely say that it is a God thing. It is His work and all honor and glory goes to Him. There are going to be hardships we will face, but God's plans will be accomplished.
É o trabalho do Senhor, e toda honra e glória pertence somente a Ele.

That looks awesome! I hope that Elizabeth, Nathanael and I can come and visit sooner than later. Looks like you have some great help. Make sure you send pics of the new truck when you get it. Also, thanks for the shirts. You're the man.

You Made It!! What an incredible adventure you are on! It is so exciting seeing you follow God's plan for your lives. I must say that we would love to have your building out here in California! Tell your builder he can come here and work for AMAC anytime! I am sure he could teach me a thing or two. Just know that you are in the Douglass Family's daily thoughts and prayers! Also, I know that I speak for the entire Danville campus when I say, We love you and are so proud to call you our friends!
Stay strong in Christ, as you impact the world for HIS KINGDOM!!
All our love,
Tyler and Michelle Douglass

I am overwhelmed to see the progress at the church. I know that God will be touching so many lives through you and that church. Terry would be so honored to see that his name was used to dedicate a church that will reach precious souls for Christ. I'm glad about the truck, but not a least bit surprised, God is sufficient. Keep us posted and we will continue to pray for you. Carol and Isiac, go and tell them about Christ. Love to you, the Melancons.

It's so wonderful to see pictures of you there after talking to you about it so much and praying with both of you. I miss you so much already. We are praying that God will send us there soon to do ministry with you and Children's Cup. Do you think we can bring the mobile clinic with us?
